How to Create Anniversary Flow in Klaviyo | Customer Appreciation

    In this video, I will be showing you how to create anniversary flows in Klaviyo, this could be for every year they have been a customer or the number of orders they have completed. You can have several flows with different dates and categories, so this can automatically send out an email to the customer when they hit the milestone.

    You can set the start date from when they sign up or when they place an order, then set when you want the emails to be sent out, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and so on. Sending these emails is a great way to show your customers that they are appreciated and that you have taken note of how long they have been a customer.

Okay, so there’s a lot of talks about anniversary flow to congratulate, let’s say, your customer one year from now, because they become your customer, let’s say today, and one year from now, it’s like kind of like happy birthday or happy anniversary, being our valued customer. So first, let’s go to Klaviyo. So this is how we will do it. So we create flow from scratch, new purchase, test. Okay, so we have it, select filter on that one. So we do metrics and let’s do placed order, trigger filter. Oops, my bad, not filter, but flow fare filter. Placed order, Shopify, at least equals on overall time or yes. So anybody who will join this flow first time, then before we start sending out any emails, we do update profile and we do create new one. And let’s say, first purchase date, you put date and you do use current date once step is reached. So basically what will happen when they place an order, the date stamp will be added here, and if you want, you can even add a delay, maybe like 12 hours or so, just to make sure they don’t cancel the order, but it’s up to you. So you add this and then you will create based on this profile. Again, it’s not available yet, unfortunately. Let’s do, let’s find my profile, if you do have it. Andriy, yeah, I have it here. Okay, so let’s do custom profile and today’s, what? 6/25/2021, add property. Okay, cool. ‘Cause there is two ways. So first way, you can trigger by a segment or second way, you can trigger by date. So let’s do, probably easier to do it by date, create T… test, anniversary, create the flow. And do date property, and let’s do first purchase date. First purchase date, yeah. And should be the yearly, for example. And that’s it. So every year it will be repeated and you will send specific congratulation email or whatever you want to send it.
