What is a post purchase offer?

Post purchase offers show after the customer has completed their checkout. Instead of showing offers before, you can show offers after the checkout and customers can accept with 1-click. These offers are risk free and can provide a lift in your average order value.

Does the customer need to re-enter their payment information?

AfterSell’s post purchase offers are truly 1-click! This means that customers don’t have to re-enter any payment information. AfterSell offers another (optional) offer type on the Thank You Page where customers need to re-enter payment information, however offers on the post purchase page are truly 1-click.

How many offer funnels can I make?

You can make an unlimited number of offer funnels on any of our pricing plans! In fact, we urge you to utilize our precise targeting features and make more personalized funnels. We’re here to help if you need in creating multiple funnels.

What kind of offers can I create?

You can create single and multi product funnels. This means you can show 1 product or up to 6 on one page for AfterSell and allow customers to swiftly accept in 1-click! You can add content widgets to the post purchase offer page as well such as images, text, and more!

Can I track post purchase offer conversions and revenue in Facebook Pixel & Google Analytics?

Yes! Shopify supports additional scripts on the post purchase page as well as the thank you page. Just navigate to Shopify settings > Checkout and scroll to the scripts section. Here, you can add scripts to track your conversions.

Do I need to hire a developer and/or designer?

Nope! AfterSell’s editor is designed to help you setup branded offers in under 5 minutes without any design knowledge or expertise. And, if you’re still unsatisfied — our team can help so you don’t have to hire a developer and/or designer.

How many offers can I show per customer?

You can show up to 2 offers per customer. You can setup an initial offer and then a second offer based on if they accept or decline. You can also show unlimited offers on the thank you page! Additional offers are optional.

What is the post purchase offer sequence?

First, the customer completes the checkout (checkout editing capabilities coming soon) and sees the initial post purchase offer. If they accept it, they see the second upsell (optional), and if they decline — they see the downsell (optional). After this, the customer is brought to your customized thank you page. Using AfterSell, you can target customers based on the items they checkout with and create personalized offer funnels.

If someone declines the post purchase offer, do I lose the sale?

Nope! AfterSell shows after the initial purchase is complete and the payment is captured. You don’t jeopardize the initial purchase since it’s completed before AfterSell is displayed.
