How to Remove Blank Spaces in Google Sheets & Excel

    In this video, I will be showing you how to remove spaces on an excel document, it can be annoying when you load up a spreadsheet and there are lots of unnecessary spaces. I will also show you how to add a column, either left or right side of the spreadsheet.
    – Hi, in this video, I’d like to show you how to remove extra space, which you don’t see, like just space from a row in Excel. I use Google sheets, but same thing will apply for Excel. So as you can see, there’s Adam and there’s like a blank space and I want to remove it because will not work for what I want to do it, like dynamic inserts. So I do insert left, left or right. Sorry, let’s do insert right. Then the formula is equal sign, you type in “Trim,” and open the parentheses, do this, Close, Enter. This thing will auto-fill. Click Enter, or another option which you can do, just Cut this and drag it tot the last field, and it will do this, but here’s a formula. So the last thing we need to do is just to Cut this, Copy and place Value Only. It means it will not carry over the formula, but just value place, yeah? Remove this, and the job is done. Thank you.
